Default Need Advice 500 700 or 800

Did not say is a thing wrong with the 500. It will indeed be much easier on gas. It will pull until the tires loose traction. I haul quite a few trees and the grunt that I get with the xtra cc's sure helps move some logs. Like when pulling uphill lean forward & go. Even my 400 xplorer would spin the tires in the woods. Do I miss the fuel milage... ya when on a longer ride between gas stations but that is a trade off one must decide on.

Default Need Advice 500 700 or 800

WoW, its been a WHILE since i've posted due to name and password errors and all, but im back. Anyway, i've owned an '04 500H.O. and now an '04 700, and the difference is phenominal. I LOVED the 500, it was awesome. But i wouldnt go back to it for anything. My 700 does everything i want it to with ease. I still havnt gotten my hands on an 800 yet, so i just dont see it having "that" much more power, but i believe all who say it. I say, go with the 800. But if you get a good deal on a 700, take it. And if you end up getting a 500, you still made a good choice lol.

Normally, i would say go with the 500EFi for reliability reasons, but now that the Sportsman 800 is in its 3rd year of production, its not really an issue anymore.

Good luck on your choice. Let us know something.
