525's doomed already NONE for me
Called my Polaris dealer today and salesman told me KTM and Polaris already seperated ways. This will be the only year with KTM. Is this true? I dont think I want a red headed stepchild for my next quad.
Who will be responsible for warrenty or parts. Whats next? KAZUMA powered outlaw?
Reminds me of when my wife sent me to the dealer for a new Buick and I bought her a YUGO.
Too bad cause I realy liked that thing.
I think the origional outlaw will do for me. anyone have a used one in ohio? $5700 plus tax is the best new price i found so far.

No it is not true. Polaris/KTM have a 2 year agreement to use KTM engines.
In a nutshell the only thing that changed was that KTM did not want to sell more of its stocks to Polaris like originally talked about, and who can blame them. Polaris still owns 24% of KTM. There are quite a few articles on the web about this when the news of KTM not wanting to sell its majority to Polaris a couple of months ago.
