I have 70 miles on my limited and broke her in pretty fast - No issues yet - Hope all goes well.
I love this thing - Wish it had a seperate front brake for powerstands.

 

Some polaris atvs had a condition where the atv would die on decelleration, polaris sent a high altitude reflash to some dealers saying this would fix the issue, and it works.

 

We have 2 06 500 EFI'S and they both would randomly quit on hills or just plain slowing down. After many phone calls to customer service and finally a decent service rep backing me up, Polaris decided to flash our machines. It did cure all of the stalling problems that we were having. The next thing you need to watch for is the melting plastics, they replaced mine 4 times and tried different fixes so i ended up tweaking the mounting bracket for the pipe and making some different heat shields and problem solved completely. So much for big business engineering LOL. Enjoy your new ride, they are awsome quads.

 

I have an 2007 Sportsman 500 with the same problem, within 10 minutes of owning it. I had to bring it in twice. It is the the throttle cable, actually too much of it. It's too loose and they either shortened and tighted or just shortened. Works like a champ now.

 

hey ive got a06 sportsman 500 efi and everytime i get any water what so ever it back fiers and stalls the only thing different with it and my 07 500 is i have itp mud lites on it so im thinking its getting water up in the breather but im puzzled any help would be great
