2007 Sportsman 500 Deluxe
I bought a 07 blue deluxe 500EFI on 11/11/06. Thus far a wonderful machine, very smooth, easy to ride, great for a beginner (like me) and it has climbed everthing I have thrown at it with ease. I have heard allot of bad things with regards to Polaris, however, I have 112 miles on it so far and no complaints. I only rolled it on its side once on my first big trip (80 mi), it sat there on its side idling while I gathered my wits and brushed myself off. It was dark and I hit a stump, give me a break.

The 2007 500 EFI and 800 efi Deluxe both come standard with ADC...The other riders all had either 500 EFI or regular Sportsman 500's..Thay all rode my atv down what we call the drop-off...(The atv's with out adc slide down ) They could not believe how the ADC walked the atv down without slipping the wheels....I think there will be some of them moving up to the Deluxe model...

2007 Sportsman 500 Deluxe
This past weekend I rode 53 mile in the PA mountains. My sportsman 500EFI deluxe performed wonderfully. I had one problem during the entire ride, and believe me we went through some pretty narly stuff all day. Hill climbs were no problem no matter what the height or terrain, rocky roads were a joke even during the worse of conditions (the ground on this beast clearence is wonderful).
The one problem that I had (and I will be discussing with Polaris) is that on a steep and very rocky decent the ADC locked up the rear tires throughout the day. The folks I was riding with would say let loose of the brake and let her come down the hill on her own. Yet, I had let loose of the brakes, the ADC was causing it to slide sideways, it wasn't until I hit the accelerator that the beast straighten out.
Anywho, regardless of this little complaint, the 07 500 EFI deluxe is a brute. I wouldn't trade it for the world. If you want a world class ATV, you need look no further then the Polaris 500EFI Deluxe.
