Has anyone herd of clutch/buttons keeping a sp from reaching top speed?

if your buttons are wore it will not allow you secondary clutch to shift properly resulting in loss of power.check the helix that rides on the buttons for wear as well and the belt.if you need to change the belt go with the ultimax 3 it has cogs on both sides and helps cool the clutches better and grips the clutch better as well.

HEY STARKS REBEL ,WAHT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE EPI BELLY BUSTER S AND A DIFFERN SPRING OR JUST BITE THE BULLET$$$ AND GET THE MUDDER KIT...JUST TRYING TO SAVE SOME$$$

the epi kit will come with the bellybusters two springs and a helix. you can get this kit for $190 or so. i would go with the kit if i could afford it.if not get the weights and the orange spring for the front.i used 58 grahm weights and the orange spring on my 500.

hey thanks you have been way helpful i was amost sure of a heelclicker but the epi mudder kit is also looking pretty sweet,,,,,,, now i just have to decide .....thats the hard part.... i am going to the dealer to get the clutch buttons today maybe they will have some info..................

its mainly a personal choice.bothe kits are great.the epi does however come with the rear clutch spring and helix.

well local dealer said it was a wast of$$$$,,, he said to invest in a new quad in witchhe would give me grreat deal... this is not the end of the sporty 400 , not by a long shot. i am going to bite the bullet and install the epi mudder kit its gotta do something....... trade in the sporty 400 yea right,, just got here how i like her... mean and nasty and willing to take me home anytime/anywere !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! everybody thanks for the ///namely starksrebel(let the slop fly)

the dealer just wants you to by a new bike and put money in his pocket!go with the kit you wont be disapointed!
