Hello I am new to the forums and wanted to say hi first.I have a 2002 Polaris 500 professional series atv.I was designed for working not playing it only go's about 20 mph top's.So I was wondering if anyone knows how to take off the speed limiter and rev limiter without causing damage.Also it does not have a 2wd & 4wd switch like the same year or older other Polaris models do.Is there anyway to put a 2wd & 4wd switch on this model? Thanks

 

Are you sure this isnt a 500 Magnum RMK ?

 

Yes it is a 2002 polaris professional series 500 that does not have IRS.They only made them one year 2002.It took 8 weeks for my dealer to find a shop manual for it.It also has a fatory horn and back up alarm and lights.Thanks

I have the exact same atv pro series and was wondering if you ever found any info regarding the 26mph top end speed if so any advice would be great thanks
