Guys I need to know the ins and outs to tire/wheel combos for my Sportsman .
I have a 2006 Sportsman 500 EFI with stock 26"s right now but wanna run a Mudlite tire but don't know what wheels will fit .
I like the ITP wheel that machined alum and painted black with a polished lip
Will I have to run longer wheels studs or spacers ?
I plan on going to 27x9 and 27x11's or 26x12's for the rear
We ride in alot of mud, hills, and rocky terrain along with some good trails
all help will be appreciated

I just put the new ITP 27" mudlite XTRs on 14" SS wheels on my 06 800. I did have the longer studs from the factory because my 800 came with alum wheels and thus longer studs than a sp with steel wheels stock. As long as you go with aftermarket tires like those from ITP the offset should be enough to run 9" or 10" wide tires in the front. I also have a 02 700 with 26x9.5-12 front and 26x12.5-12 rears on alloys with no stud problems or offset issues.
27" tires dont rub at all on the newer sportsmans.
I really like my new XTRs and they ride pretty good for a big lug tire in my opinion.
I think ITP wheels work with the stock stud length of your 06 500 EFI.
I have no spacers.
