Electric Fan?

Default Electric Fan?

Ive got a 99 Xplorer 300 and when i baught it it had been sittin out side for about a year and i rebuilt the motor and got it goin because i am just going to use it to plow snow anyway the fan will not work so i checked the thermostat and it was all rusty so i was just goin to connect the fan so it was on all them time. but when i connected it all the fan does is move a little bit and stop I didnt know if there may be rust in there from sittin so long or if i could take it apart and clean it maybe or do i just need to buy a new one? Thanks for any tips.

Default Electric Fan?

TRY SOME WD40 ON THE SHAFT GOING IN TO MOTOR( LUBE THE BEARING),,, LET IT SET OVERNIGHT AND THE WORK BACK ON FORTH BY HAND....IT MAY COME BACK TO LIFE IT MAY NOT............

I think it may very well be pooched. You never know though.. Try what was said ^^^^^ and see.
