Default 2005 magnum 4x4 trans. problem

It will go into all the gears except for park.there is no adjustment on the shift rod.The bellcrank is intact and not stripped.I have been using it to plow snow and havent had any problems other than that.I thought about changing the trans. oil to see if there is some water in it.Any other advice would be helpful.

will it go into high range if not check the spring that moves the little detent that allows the atv to go into high or park when pressing the foot brake, if the spring isnt there it wont go.

the spring is there.I looked at another magnum like mine,im thinking the selector detent inside the cover is bent. There is also alot of play in the shifter when in high gear

I know that is sealed off from the rest of the transmission. If it isnt that i guess the transmission will have to come apart.

Well I took the cover off the transmission. The gear selector gear had missing teeth.13$ and it will good as new.Apparently had gotten water in there and froze causing it to break.
