01 Sportsman 500. I have no power to the main hi-beam headlight. The two low beam work just fine. Any suggestions? Fuse? Hi beam light is on at the switch.

 

The first thing I would do is pull the high beam bulb, and check that your getting 12 volts to the bulb socket. If not you've got a wiring problem between the switch and the bulb socket. If you've got voltage at the socket then most likely a bad bulb, you can check for continuity through the bulb just to be sure.

I have check the bulb and it test fine. I do not have power to the plug at the light. I was wondering if there are any fuses, or a method to check the light switch.
