Default Hey has anyone else seen the "half-track" with cup holders????

Check out the picture I found under one of Polaris's many patents.

I really like the cup holders and dump bed.

thats pretty sweet i wouldnt mind having one of thoes mi self but do u think the 2 tires would cause a problem in deep snow wouldnt it be better to have traxs all the way around???

looks something like a ww2 half track miltary truck(with cup holders) lol. i looked a sportsman 450 fri w/ the polaris tracks on it. it looks like it would go thru anything but looks hard to steer.

I think with 4 wheel drive...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] well 2 wheel with track assist it would still be ok but with tracks only you would have a heck of a time turning.

How can polaris patent something with so little information on that picture? What is it that they are patenting? It kind of looks like a X2 with mattracks on the back.

Well there was allot of info on the page about the patent itself but it sounds like a lawyer wrote it so I skipped it over and got to the pictures......the newest patents I found were from 2004-5 time frame so.... there wasn't anything ground breaking to see.

it still looks like it would be fun i bet it would keep ur drinks nice andd cold in the winter????

i kinda would agree that steering would be a big problem unless they had steering brakes on the rear. the 2 tracks would just overpower the front tires and push it forward on slippy ground. but still looks cool.
