Hey gents and ladies; I noticed these on Polaris website: Spring spacers I thought they might be helpful to people with plows or who have too much sag in the front end of their quads.

 

Don't bother wasting your $. I have a set in a box somewhere. Bout the only way to help with sag is stronger springs, the spacers that go under, or adjustable collar type. These rubber "spacers" will just work their way to the bottom of the spring, get dirt in them & sandpaper the paint off.

 

i second that the rubber spacers are garbage.. i have a set somewere also.. get a set of "HIGHLIFTER) heavey duty springs if you want to get rid of that NASTY sag.. steers alot easier also

 

Yup, the black donuts are a waste of money. I had two in each front spring on a Sportsman 6x6 that I used for plowing snow and they didn?t help much. EPI sells heavier front springs or you can put springs from an MV or Ranger in it, they?re heavier too. The Ranger springs are also a little taller so you?ll be ahead of the sag if you add a bunch of weight to the front end (like a snow blade).

 

Thanks for the heads up all. I had been thinking of them for the front of my X2, but will probably go with heavier springs at some point. It isn't quite annoying enough for me yet.

 

my o4 was sagging badly after about 150 miles, i put the spacers in and ran till about 1000 miles then went to the "HIGHLIFTER" lift kit and it rode so dam stiff it hurt my back after awhile..put about 400 miles on like that ( tires rubbed w/ no lift) then i took the rear lift off and jcked the springs a bit and took the ft lift off and put the"HIGHLIFTER" ft springs in w/ 2nch spacers under the strut, now this is sweet,15+inches clearence and rides like a dream... and steers alot eaiser, thoughi would share my story and hopefuly save somebody some money along the way.... and looks pretty big sitting next to buy buddys lil 600 LOL..............................................
