Today I went for a 45 mile ride and about half way through we stopped for lunch. When I started the bike after lunch I noticed that there is a little wrench symbol flashing. It would stop after about 10 flashes. It continued to do this every time I turned off the bike and restarted. Does anyone know what causes this wrench icon to flash? I'm guessing its some kind of code like a check engine light.

im guessin that maybe it means that u need to chain the oil and servise it i dont really know much about it just mi to cestn adn im guessin

 

Thanks i just found my owners manual and thats exactly what it is. Its a service timer. Thanks for your quick response. Time to change all the fluids!!!!

hey not a problem so its kinda set up like mi moms kawi 360 her check belt light goes off when its time for servising

 

Mine was set to flash at 50 hour intervals.

 

LOL, that would scare the he!! out of me. A flashing wrench for a icon!,, OMG! I have to get my wenches out or I,m walking home from here! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

you can reset it to any no. of hrs but 50 is pretty good to have bewtween services.
