Puttin shine back in plastic
I dont think he is talking about using spray to get the shine. I think he wants the scratches to go away. There is realy no perfect solution to getting plastics to look new again. I use a buffer with a fine rubbing compound. Buffer on a slow to medium speed. Then after that I use a wax and buff to a shine. It makes the plastics that are not scratched look like new and really makes the rest of the scratches look very minimal. Then after I buff I use either wd40, lemon pledge and Stoner trim shine. WD40 and the stoner attracts dirt like all other plastic sprays. Lemon pledge works awsome but on certain colors it will leave some smear marks. I love the Stoner trim shine. You just spray it and walk away. The scratches dissapear and it looks like new. I have also read in alot of other forums that son of a gun works the best. I have not used son of a gun but they swear buy it.
The buffer and compound works wonders. I buff my quad about every 3 months and my friends always think I got newer plastics.
