okie i have read in diffrent post and stuff about a topend rebuild on a 2 strke and they talk about puttin a wiesco piston... whats the diff. between a stock piston and the wiesco piston??????? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] what diffrence does that pison make vs. the stock

cast alluminum-stock forged alluminum - Weisco.

os i take it te stock is softer and the wiescois harder.................

That is right.Plus the Weisco is lighter.

so if i have to ever do a rebuild put a wiesco in.....so what does a lighter piston do......i dont kno mch about motor work

lighter=less mass for the spark detonation to move the piston. they also are forged?...can't remember but its the opposite of the pro-x and tend to be a better quality than the stock.

If yoour bore is ok you can go with a same bore Weisco.Lighter parts rev faster

so in excahange for lighter piston an higher rrm will u get mor speed or more power

I used a weisco because it was cheaper than polaris , and yes less spining mass = mo power.. my next step is to get a aaen pipe and put the polaris white primary spring in... just phoned in a order to aaen for a pipe fpr my sporty,sent a check to cob ... man christmas already!!!!!!!!!!

oh i c i was jsut wournding becasue i have seen people talking about these pistons and was wournding what the deal was
