I am having trouble finding the fuses. Nothing in Owners manual about where they are? But have done other stuff. Even charged the battery. I just bought a book on multimeters and need to learn more about how to use them.

Good morning guys. I was reading this thread. I am having a similar problem but I have no digital readout when I turn my key on. New battery Jan. 07, same year, same make. ATV ran fine 3 days ago when I parked it in my garage. Now, nothing. No lights, no winch, no readout. Any ideas?
Did you use a volt meter and measure the voltage across the battery? Make sure the meter is set to test voltage.

Also did you make sure the inline fuse at the battery is OK?

I don't know of any fuses on your quad, at least I could not find any either. There are 3 thermal breakers up front under the front hood. One is a 20 amp breaker and 2 are 10 amp. They are sealed in a black pod. I went thru my quad, and narrowed my problem to the stator.

Hello--Are 03 700 shutoff on us and when we tried to fire it back up we had pod lights but nothing at starter--A couple inches up one of the small wires that come off the selenoid there is a spliced in fusable link-Seems from swamping the machine so much water got in and corroded the splice(splice is shrink wrapped but must not have been sealed all the way).Spliced wire and link back together and it fired up--Hope this helps

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH. I actually found The fusible link this morning and it was the problem! But to the person who mentioned the fusible link, thank you, had I not found it you would have saved me some time and money! And to the person who mentioned the in line fuse, you sent me in the right direction! To all of you, thank you again.

You are welcome Tommy. I just hope I can help some day. How can I keep track of other people asking questions like I did?

Mick
