I have a 03 700 and stock tire size is 25-11x12, but you can only find a couple tires for this size. Goodyear Rawhides and Ducks Unlimited radials. I was wondering if there might be any others that you all know of. Has anyone had any luck with the DU tires?

 

give mudlites a try there 6 ply and a hell of a tire. They are cheaper than stock to, well at least mine were, they are really good all around tires

 

I like "Duro" HF274 EXCAVATOR , I had these on my old 450 Foreman and even though they may look rough riding, they were not bad. Best of all I did hundreds of miles on hard gravel roads and the wear very slowly and I never had a flat even though they are only 4 ply. My stock front "Goodyear Trackers" on my Sportsman wear out fast by the looks of it, the backs are at 90% while the front are at 40% thread left! HERE's a PIC of them. Anyone using those X-Cross or Bow Tie type
tread tires on these bigger Sportsmans?

I was thinking that may be a good trail tire
for me when I ride up in the mountains for
packed dirt, rock and gravel and then
switch out for Mudd'in terrian/Hunting seasons.

Man i honestly love my perelli mudwiser tire and its one hell of a grabbing tire in lightly moist dirt at a drag track no one could take me unless i was over powered also goold for trails and hill climbing and i dont even have a clutch kit soo... scrambler 400 4x4

 

Im currently running Mudlites on the rear and stock on the front. So far no problems getting stuck , i will be getting the mudlites for the front soon so they all match.

 

Anyone running those swamp lites?
I heard you trailblazermudrunner how are
they in the mud and what size are your tires?
Are they a TYPE of Swap lite tire?

So far out of all the posts from this thread
and Caper's I am leaning toward the Mud Lites.

I'll second this. The stock Carlisle works well in many terrains. I've been very happy with them. I don't know the cost compared to swamps or ITP though.

 

holeshot atr's are pretty good and mud lites are good as well if you're into mud often

 

Maybe I am old-school, but BearClaws have always served me well for an all-purpose tire.
