No spark, Sportsman 90

Default No spark, Sportsman 90
Looking for information on testing the stator and ignition box on an 04 90cc sportsman. Does anybody have a shop manual? Thanks.

ummmm i think u can check them with a ohm's meter correct me if im rong

Yes , it can be checked with an omh meter but what should the reading be and at what wires ?

i miself would think it would be the postive and negative dont quote me tho....

There are at least 5 wires coming out of the stator coils

i think you would ned a service manual for the ohms numbers. there maybe a couple of guys that can tell you what they are but its not well known. your sure its not something else causing the lack of fire.

Did you put this post on the kids quads forum...There are alot of people there that deal with smaller quads and may have the answer for you or at least point you in a better direction on the manual hunt!!!..Caper
