X2 Deluxe has exceeded high expectations
Well if you go to the Jamhard wesite and have a look, the bottom of the rad protector has a dip in the bottom of it, I assume so a plow hookup will work with it, and it leaves a fist and a half sized hole for everthing to hit your rad at the bottom. So I wasn't real happy with the setup, so I was going to drill my own holes and move it to cover the bottom of the rad more, and I thought why not flip it over and have a look see. Now it fits pretty tight against the bottom of the frame and the top where the dip is now, seems like a smaller hole. So I'm hoping less debris will be near my rad now. And if you have a blue bike like mine, I would NOT recomend the blue JAMHARD. It does NOT match the bike or the Polaris accesories!!! The Jamhard is a baby blue while the Popo stuff is dark blue.

I went on a wood cutting excursion for the hunting shack. My good friend has a 500 atp and a 500 x2. I fell in love with both of them. Hard working good balance and power. The X2 is superior to the atp though. The 800 X2 must really be awesome. Doc

I was able to ride the 500 X2 and at the time the 800 X2 was not out yet so I rode the 800 Sportsman. No questions, I had to have the 800. My 800 X2 does not pull the front wheels of the ground like the 800 did. But If I want to do wheelies I can add a clutch kit. I am surprised on the fuel consumption. I thought it would suck more gas than it does. Maybe I'm not riding it hard enough. Not! This machine scoots down the trail nicely.

Got to ride my first 800 X2 delux today. Set it up at the dealership I work at and wow, what a machine. Not as quick as my 800, but it still felt sporty and surefooted. I would love to be able to take that thing out on the trails with some good tires and see what she really has. I was impressed with how the adc worked in the parking lot so I got to believe its great on the hills, and with the extra long wheelbase its got to be a good ride and stable. That or the ranger rzr will be my next polaris.

Does anyone find that they have more top-end than the regular bike? I was told by a dealer that he was easily able to take a 500 sportsman with one rider & he had a 500 x2 with two on it. I was wondering if this is the same for the 800 x2. I am thinking about getting an 800 x2.

I took mine out for a good ride with my wife on it last weekend, and I was surprised by the power. I was afraid I'd be disappointed with the 500 since my last machines were a 600 and a 700. I'll admit it's not as torquey, but it can definitely get up and go. 40-45 mph across the field with both of us on it without even trying. I'd like to compare it to an 800 X2 sometime. One of my friends has an 06 (regular) 800 that I've ridden, and my only complaint about that motor is how fast it hits the rev limiter.
