I dont have it anymore but it was bogus. The Scrambler beat the Wolverine in every category except 2-----
1)No storage compartments
2)No gauges
It destroyed it in the rest of the test but they still picked the Wolverine......go figure

It makes sense the the Scambler would beat a 420 Wolverine. I ride a 700lb!! 500 H.O(same motor as Scambler) with a guy with a 590lb 420 Kodiak(same motor as Wolverine) and out acelerate him to my faster 60mph top end. Put the 500 H.O in a 230lb lighter Scambler frame and well...nuff said.

That's the obvious side, sure, but there is more to "beating" another quad than just acceleration. I'm curious to read all the aspects they judged by and what their basic thoughts were is all.
Ok, basicaly I want to read some stuff on my new quad and see what the reviews said about it in various situations be it mud, handling, hill climbing, power, ect. I want to see where they cut it down and where they praised it See if I agree or what. Ok...more basic I want to read what a kickazz quad the Scrammy is. I read a shootout between a 329 Rancher and a 348 Wolverine in DW a few years back and the Wolverine out accelerated the Rancher, weighed much less and had more suspession travel yet lost the shoot out. After that I gave up on DW reviews.

the fact that they even compare the two is beyond me.
they all bash the scrammy for being old in design. but yet it still beats out new competition today. basically it tells me that polaris was WAY ahead of its time then they released the scrammy 4x4 (back in 97?). ten years ago???) and competitors are just now getting the idea, and catching up.
it wont be long before polaris places their BOOT firmly onto the competitions face.
until then, i will always LOVE my scrammy 500 4x4!!!!

I guess they compare the Scrambler and Wolverine because they have and had a whole market class to themselves for years. Does anyone other manufacturer even make a sport 4x4??
The Wolverine has be around a long time also in the 350 size but with its full time 4wd and displacement disadvantage to the 400(discontinued) and 500 scramblers they never could go head to head with each other until the 420 Wolverine came along.
