Default K&N Air Filter

Climb -

I take it that you removed your
air box(es)? What about just having
the lid/snorkel removed and box open?
Did you sense/measure better performance
w/o the box?

Default K&N Air Filter

I used to run open lid then i just took the whole thing off & yes..
The throttle is a bit more snappy, it's breathing more air & burning more fuel.
It hauls.. Can't wait for some engine mods!!

Default K&N Air Filter

Okay so I can take it that I will
burn more gas quickly, is there any
ratio to use? Like would I expect to
use 10% more gas, up tp 50%?

My cousin running his Sp800 was in
need of more gas when we were riding
and I wasn't even at a half tank, I guess
if I move into this type of direction I can
expect to tank my fill tank for more fills
during these long trail rides?
