Well im done modding my ds for awhile and now im turning to my 1996 trailblazer 250.Its a good running quad for not being rebuilt in 11 years.So im going to do the looks for now.My mom going to ride it.Ill go to verdepowersports for the flame graphic kit and a maching seat cover.I saw other graphic kits but they were more or the same price and they didnt come with the fender graphics like this kit.And im getting red plastic all the way around.What year had the red plastic?The bad part to do these things its going to cost 560.00 and some change!!!!But it will look alot better.My plastic now has some bad cracks on where it mounts to the frame.

 

Dont feel bad, ive spent around 2000 dollars in extras on my 650V2! And im not done, but its fun . I find myself upgrading things all the time, like batteries, spark plugs, ect.....

 

It is fun.But man that plastic just kill's me every time.It sure makes the quad look like new.

 

Its funny how hard money is to make then it goes so easy.I had a really nice foreman es and hed over 4000 dollars in it.Man that thing was meant for the mudd.

 

no differnt if you mod a sled, car, bike, its just a sickness we all have to have fun and go broke at the same time .

all started November of 05 with the Arctic Cat then grew
from there, a trade up for me on the Sp450, then one
for the wife a few months later then more accessories
then an older Honda quad for my nephew later in the
year (06) [deal from a work friend] mods and things
for him, more and more for me, all of this is not
including these day trips expenses, and other gear.

This is true.All things cost money but sometimes its ridiculous to spend money for atv shocks when you could get 2 sets of shocks for trucks!Atv stuff just seems really expensive.I know trucks are too but da*n.

 

Yes that another reason for me to keep them STOCK........I am happy with what I got.!!!...
Plus if I get anything to add to mine ............Then the wife will want it for hers!!!!!!
Money X 2 for me!!!!...LOL...LOL...Caper........

 

ive been postponing buying the wheels and tires i desire because geeze! it's $530.00. i saved up just for them too! and i still haven't ordered them. my quad works just fine without upgrading the wheels and tires! lol.!!! or does it? confused!!...lol...!

 

you know it really all comes down to what you want to do out of your bike. tires to me was a must if i wanted to go thru deeper mud and the stockers werent enough. rims, i bought the kit because the stock ones wouldnt give me enough room between the tire and strut. if i could have got by w/ just tires i would have to save the extra. in my eyes, i really dont care to put the fanciest rims on just toi get them all stove up and most the time there muddy anyways. i myself wouldnt buy tires and rims just to make it look better.
