Yep this may be a dumb post but I am curious.

Am I the only one, that when away from my quad for more than a couple days becomes grumpy and feels like I am in withdrawal??

It's true. Sometimes I am at work and get all grumpy and can only think about the trails. Usually I just pull out an ATV magazine or read through my HPD and Hot Seat catalogs. It doesn't always work though...

Am I alone???

I think about riding all the time, ride in my dreams and every weekend I am hitting the trails. The four lane highway we live on doesn't provide good weekday riding. I get very down and feel like the world has come to an end if I don't get to ride. I have only missed one weekend since I got my 400EX September 28. I hope to not miss many ever as long as I can. Xplor I have the "cant go 2 seconds with riding syndrome" too.
It gets to the point where I'll ride my scrambler to work instead of my truck. Luckly I can make use of the railroad tracks instead of riding on the road.
But it does'nt end there I constantly look at it out the wondow.
I'm seeing my psychologist next week.LOL.

I have found that buying something for or related to your quad can help in the deprevation. Order a new set of tires already mounted on rims and you'll feel that you are at least doing something that will prepare you for a ride. Buy a set of new riding gloves and wear them all day. People at my work look at me funny, trying to type at my desk with my new FOX racing gloves on. But hey, it's my sanity!! You're not ALONE!!!

I don't get grumpy or anything...just that something's missing. I think about riding all day long (even during the exams!!). When I don't think about riding, it's about modding my machine...
Never thought quads could be so...mind taking...there's no place left in my head for anything else. Sometimes I say "ah, I should go to parties, drink beer...like all the guys my age do...but that $ucks!! I'm so happy when sitting on my quad and riding in the woods -and watching behind if I'm not to fast -"

You know what? quads are the greatest thing in the world...or maybe just being out and breathing real air...I don't know...I just love the life I live...wish everyone could be as happy as I am.

I have the same delima's as those here, Always thinking about it, cant say its a bad life either. Just wish I could ride more often. its alot better then thinking about it. Like to tinker on them just as much too. gj

i'm 29 now been riding since i was 14. when i don't own a quad all i want is to have one. when i do have one all i wanna do is make it better by mods, or just ride the damn thing. too bad work gets in the way all the time. got a 3 day weekend gonna ride even though it's 18 degrees out. who cares!! never goin without again!!
