Hello Everyone!!

It is time for the oil and transmission change on my daughters 2007 predator 50.

I need help in choosing what are the best lubes for this. A salesman were I got the bikes told me that I would use the engine oil for the transmission also??? Is there any true to this? All of you advice is greatly appreciated!!!!

 

Best advice I can give you is to read the owners manual. I dont know if the 2007 50's are a 2-stroke, or a 4-stroke like the 2007 90's.

 

did not the atv come with an owner manual huh? there it will say what oil to use for the engine, transmission etc.etc.etc. polaris sells oil for all the atv's it sells. i would choose what is said in the owner manual to use.

 

I may be wrong but I thought ALL of the 50's were two strokes.
