POLARIS ELECTRICAL PROBLEM
I HAVE A 1998 POLARIS SPORTSMAN 500. I CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS! I HAVE A NEW BATTERY BUT NO OF MY HAND CONTROLS WORK. IE: STARTER SWITCH,LIGHTS,4WD AND ENGINE SHUT-OFF. I USED A TEST LIGHT AND IM GETTING POWER TO THE KEY BUT NOTHING ELSE.
IT RUNS FINE USING THE PULL START BUT STIL NO HAND CONTROLS.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I know in my ECM it has two solid state circuit breaker outputs.......That's on a 2006 model though!!!!!
First output is for the Battery..for lamps,pod and hub coils......
Second output is for the ACC/PWR This second output is used for ACCESSORIES!!!

I still think there should be some kind of circuit protection on the older quads......Just can't tell him where to look........This ECM of mine/ours......Does alot of things!!!!!!!!!!!!....I would have never of though it did so much!!!!!!............Caper..........
