Okay you can't drop that BOMB and just
not tell us. I will ask, what about those
other Clutch systems you were beta
testing for Rick Ritter?
My big thing is it just with H/C? Or
could it really profit us to upgrade
with a new better clutch kit if I do
all the other mods, air/pipe etc.?

first off it all depends on what you want to gain out of the kit.for what i wanted to gainit wasnt enough tomake it worth the money. see the 450 already engauges higher rmp them the 800 did so by adding the white spring (as recommend) it brings it even higher(which the wife doesnt want). ok here it is in a nut shell. (this is only my testing onmy 450) when kit was installed w/ thie recommendations of what parts to put where, including changing secondary spring loacation, i saw a drop in top rmp and lost top end spped as well. after playing w/ it a few differnt set ups i wasnt able to regain the rmps i wanted. how ever it did have a little (quote little) better engagement belt grip and take off. now i might have been able to produce better results by changing to differnt spring set ups as well as maybe weight configations. i was not willing to buy extra parts for this to be worth it on either of my bikes. now that being said, in talking w/ "savage" who has one on his 400, says its a real big advantage w/ his oversize tires. note: that the recom. is for a stock tire set up so it takes more playing to figure it out. as far as the dalton kit that i have for my 800, just adding the recommended prim. spring for my tire size was a improvement. the big differnce i see is that dalton makes their kit to fit each machine, where the heel clicker is more all of them w/ changing spring/weights. i didnt however get to try the weights or sec. spring that came w/ my dalton kit as the weights would not fit correctly w/out alting the clutch by grinding the spider a little bit so the weight would have full motion and contacc w/ the rollers. now remeber thatsome h/c appl. also have to have griding done as well and i was not prepared to do any kind of modifcation to my clutch.
