Hello,
I'm installing a superwinch and most things are pretty straightforward, but it needs an ignition source for the toggle switch (yellow and orange wire). I'm not sure where to find an ignition source to plug this into.

Help?

any ideas on what wire I should use for an ignition source?

 

just find a wire that has power when key switch is on. i ran right off the switch on a power wire before on an older winch. basicalay any hot wire will work, as long as it doesnt already have a big load on it.

 

I thought it might be that simple, but I didn't want to just assume.

The installation instructions leave a lot to be desired........
