I bet you, there is a tech in that shop that has a lot of tool kits in his tool box. I would make the dealer give me one. The only thing I don't like about my Hawkeye is cleaning mud out from under the racks. How it gets under there is beyonded me.

The places I go there is no such thing as a completely dry ride!!! However, once the WD 40"dries" it doesn't seem to attract a lot of dust. The small amount it does attract seems to rinse right off... The handlebars and controlls wind up looking brand new and in a somewhat dry day the bike overall still looks pretty good. It makes my black sportsman look like new. Without it - yikes!

As far as the weakening of the plastic - I'll take it. I have not noticed any strength loss but think that atv's should be made of tuperware like plastic anyway. But I guess then they wouldn't be able to sell you $500 worth of plastic!!!

In a winter slush ride hardly any ice sticks to my quad and friends that had not used WD had their bikes frozen in a solid block of ice!!!

WD works for me....

When I clean my quad, I just pressure wash it off, then I hand wash it with car wash soap, rinse and let it dry, and spray everything with tire foam. The tire foam really gets into all the little spots that are hard to get to with your hand and it cleans and shines like a brand new one. Spray 9 works really good on the tires.
