Default Acceleration Problem

2002 Scrambler 400 4x4
Hello I am having problems getting any kind of throttle respose out of my machine. It will also not wind up to full RPM. I have a fresh top end in it, maybe 6 hours at the most. I was having the throttle response problem before I rebuilt, but it would always accelarte to full speed before the rebuild. I have cleaned and oiled my KN filter so I dont think it is an ir flow problem, I also changed the fuel and oil filter so I dont think that they are plugged.

Also can anyone let me know what size jets I should be running and the location where my clip should be on the needle. I never ride at lower altitudes than 2900 FT.

any suggestions would be great

I also cannot get my Atv to idle. It will alwyas die. I have tried adjusting both the throttle cable and the card screw, any suggestions.

Default Acceleration Problem

I'm having the exact same problem with my sport! I too have recently cleaned my air filter and on top of that i have a new plug in it and i can't hardly hold 30 mph!

Sorry that doesn't help. But let me know if you find out what fixes it. I heard it may be caused by the carb...
