Default Problem when installing timing offset key, need stator!

I screwed up! When pulling my flywheel to add an offset timing key I screwed the puller bolts in too far and they hit one of the electrical connectors on my stator.
I didn't think it would create a problem but when I put it all back together it won't start, no spark.
I then pulled it all apart again and soldered the wire and it does run but I won't trust the solder job so if anyone has a stator for sale, let me know.
When replacing the stator is there anything to really watch for timing? I just want to make sure this thing is still timed right.
