I just bought a 2001 Polaris sportsman 90 for my son. It is the first four wheeler we have ever owned, After finding out how expensive to buy Polaris gearcase oil. is there a cheaper but still good quality synthetic gearcase oil and engine oil I could buy? Thanks

 

what does the book recommend besides polaris oil? it should give you an altenate kind to use if polaris isnt handy. most likey it takes like 0-75 synt. gear oil. just a guess though.

 

well i don't think that polaris gearcase oil for a 90 sportsman is too much, i have a 90 sportsman, and we bought a hole bottel, pretty descent size, for 12.29, so i don't think that's too expensive, go to ur polaris dealer, they'll have some. it's not that much. ==Dave==
