removal of front axles, help

How do you get the front axle shafts out of the diff. on a 05 sportsmen? Is there a clip or spring retainer on them.

removal of front axles, help

there is a retainer clip on the inside that holds it in place. you basicly have to jerk it out and sometimes use a little gental prying behind the cup between the housing. its does come out hard sometimes.
