yes its getting good spark....im having a guy look at it right now and he thinks its the coils...hes gonna do a compression check on it tommorrow.....thinks just by pulling the rope that its lost some compression...think hes got it or does that sound ify

 

oh yeah....what kind of job is it to replace the coils

 

if your getting good spark i would doubt it would be the coils.

 

got news today that he thinks its the rings said basically would have to breakdown the motor to replace.....im not a great mechanic so whether or not to believe him is beyond me....i just want to make sure im not getting stiffed....because not long ago i thought my starter went out and thats what the shop told me...got it out of the shop and about a week later it started doing the same thing so i took it to a different guy and he says the starter is fine and that the starter drive was my problem so i dunno what to think

 

good news guys.....shes runnin like a champ....when they replaced the starter drive they had to solder a wire in there for somthing well anyways that wire came unsoldered....simple little wire created all my problems
