Did they make the Sportsman 700 in 2002? If they did are there any issues? Looking for current or past owners of this machine and any issues with it.

 

I bought one about a month ago....seems fine to me. Comfortable... powerful... easy to ride are terms that come to mind. Cooling system leaks seems to come up in conversations, but mine must have been properly repaired as it doesn't currently leak. Great ride in my opinion, but then... I like liver and onions also.

 

I owned one for several years putting a couple thousand miles on it. My son currently owns it and uses it to move cars around at his shop. Still runs great!They're outstanding machines. The only problem I ever had was the water pump. It was repaired under a recall. I only sold it to buy an 800 X2. Another sweet machine!
