I heard that the 800 will be a true 800cc (794cc) machine with new EFI mapping. Also I heard that the sp450 will be going away and a hawkeye 400 with low range will take it's place and be much lighter. Also, I think they will be coming out with the 700efi in the X2 setup. Of course I have been told that I am still 20 years old and that their are really martians living among us, so who really knows.....LOL. But I think it will be very interesting when they release their new models based on what the salesman who sold me my 800x2 said last week. But, just like bald men trying rogaine for the first time............it's a wait and see matter.

 

I'm really hoping for that true 800 (or at least reasonably close-not a 760 being called an 800) possibly with A arms up front and hopefully with a green or camo model available with ADC. If that gets done I'll probably buy one. If I could have got an 800 sportsman deluxe in green or camo or a camo model with ADC I would have bought one this year.

I'll never turn down extra CCs. I've never bought an ATV yet and lived with it for a while and said "You know, I like this machine but it's just too powerful.....I wish I had got one with a smaller engine."

Hummmm.... I wonder if a Hawkeye 400 would be based on the existing motor? Interesting thought.

 

Wonder if they (SP800) will have power steering? After a all night ride in the mountains one finds out that he is not as young as he use to be. lol

 

Yea Caper, as to why I am waiting a few weeks, I.E. this thread,
I just want to be sure and want to be happy on this one.

The X2 is starting to work on me. I am thinking in a short period of time
my daughters may want to ride with Dad? Caper, is your kid riding his
