Hey Polaris, where's are your 2008 line ups?
1st, why is the 2nd page a copy of the 1st page? 2nd, I've heard 3 different dates for the dealer show, July 18th, the 22nd-23rd, and the very end of July, 27th-28th. 3rd, the "true 800cc" rumor's been going around for a couple years now. I hope whoever it's coming from isn't confused w/ the 795cc 2-stroke in the 800 RMK. also, I'd like to see a real 800 from polaris but they've got to do it right. No over-bored 760, a new generation Liberty motor w/ a high-tech architecture, a mono-block , parallel-twin design, single or double overhead cams and 4v-per-cyl. In their sleds polaris uses both a turbo-charged and a non-turbo 750cc efi parallel-twin 4-stroke w/ SOHC and 4v-per-cyl, the turbo version makes 140hp, the non-turbo 80hp. Weber also makes an 800 cc version w/ a slightly larger bore, 88mm vs. 85mm. These motors are light, the non-turbo weighs about 110lbs, and compact, and would be a great ATV application, also, Weber could easily de-bore this motor to make a 700, or instead of increasing the bore to get 800cc, stroke the motor out from 66mm to 70mm to get the 800cc, then it would match the 800 2-stroke w/ a bore & stroke of 85 X 70. I'm a Scrambler fan, but the design's way past it's prime, and I hope that for 08' we'll finally see a replacement with Outlaw-based (or heard a rumor about some new superlight hybrid) frame and suspension , 500cc HO EFI and (true) 800cc HO EFI, a hi-lo PVT tranny, a frame-mounted receiver hitch, sporty-Outlaw-like plastic, and 25" tires. A quad designed to be serious competition for the Renegades. Anyway, that's my .02. Love to hear anyone else's opinion

Predator 500 engine is heavy and with the 450 they can race in the Pro 450 class and with the KTM enginge they gain power and lose weight.
