You all, I would wait for the annoucements officially before coming
to those conclusions. Maybe the specs were reposted? That happens
alot and I have found inconsistenties in their users/repair manual compared
to on-line SPEC info. So you never know, thats what I am holding out
for.

I'm w/ 'R", you guys are putting too much into what the CARB website says, I looked at the listing for the 07' models, and the Outlaw 525, which was the only new model, wasn't listed until Dec of 06, when everything else had been listed end of June-beginning of July 06, wait and see. Also, I believe the dealer meeting is in Nashville this year.

 

That's because the Outlaw didn't get released until Dec. 06. Trust me guys, those numbers are correct.

 

The only 700 i see in the above list is the Ranger and Sportsman 700 X2.

I see no MAGNUM model. Anyone know
why there is no 600 class or hasn't been for
a while? Seems like every other class but that one.

The Outlaw 525 was in dealerships in December, yes, but Polaris actually told us about the Outlaw 525 back in July of 06 along w/ the rest of the line-up. My point is that there probably are models coming out that they haven't approved w/ CARB yet because they want those new models to be a secret. If you know something else, GE4X4, then spill the beans. I'm not saying what's listed isn't correct, I just don't believe they have everything listed yet.

 

It was my understanding that they killed the 600 Sportsman because the 500 EFI and it were so close in power figures. However, that doesn't explain why they wouldn't put EFI on the 600 plus boost the power a bit. But, then, if you look at the price tags on the 500 and the 700 there's not really much space in between for the 600 class anyhow. Where would they list the Price? Not above the 700 and not below the 500.. just not enough room. I don't know, just taking a shot in the dark.
