Tow Capacity Of SP 500 H.O.
#1
I noticed the towing capacity rating for the H.O. is exactly the same as last years model, 1225 lbs., even though the H.O. has more power. Just wondering why they left those specs the same and did not change them? I can't think it would be that easy to tow that much weight anyway unless you have very good traction, but then again the SP's do weigh a lot. Just curious.

My wife says I can buy a SP 700 when it comes out as long as it comes with divorce papers.

Okay, here's an example (or two) of what my 335 can do: Pull a full size Ford pick-up up a 10-degree incline with no slippage, drag three 12 foot x 1 1/2 foot poplar logs through the woods, pull a trailer that is 2'x6' full of fire wood with the front rack stacked 3' high and the rear stacked over my head, and tow a 12' by 12' chicken house without skids or rollers-just to name a few. With your H.O., I'm sure you can drag a little more because of the extra weight. I don't see power as much of a factor. But of course the braking capabilties are the judge of the supposed towing capabilities.
