Sportsman 500HO Dethroned !!!!
#1
I picked up the Feb copy of 4 Wheel ATV Action today and it said that the Rubicon is the new King.It beat the Polaris in almost every category but two, suspension and breakdowns. It even pulled a 800lb weight 45' faster than both the SP 500HO and the Griz.I have ridden the Sportsman and have never ridden a Rubicon,The Sp500 is an awesome package though.

the HO has more Hp, better suspension, better 4wd system. isnt atv action and dirtwheels owned buy the same publisher??? cause the HO won the competition in dirtwheels aginst the Rubby.
what is a bigger factor as to wins the competition is how much advertising honda has in the mag. ads pay for it and the writers have to keep the advertisers(honda) happy. im sure honda wasnt happy with dirtwheels with there winner so this is repayment to honda.
unfortitnaly marketing has more to do with who wins than the better product, this is even true in car magizines.

Here is something that someone pointed out the other day. (I believe it was Chopper Bill)
This same magazine once said in an Arctic Cat ATV review that the "start in any gear feature" was a nice addition to the machine for 2001.
This is the same exact magazine that sited Polaris for having a "start in gear feature", saying that it was a safty hazard.
