00Xj and Rickey, what color rollers did you guys have? The 2007 are supposed to have orange or 13 rollers. Just curious. Mt 2006 had yellow 14g rollers and I put in the red 12 g rollers.</end quote></div>
My '07 has yellow rollers in it. I weighed them on my broadhead scale and they both weighed 14 grams.
I went to the dealer and said the owners manual says there is a tool kit, so I should have one. They gave me one no problem.

OK, the online parts breakdown for the 07's shows 13g orange rollers as does the online owners manual for the 07's. I guess something got mixed up somewhere!
My 06 had the 14g yellow as well. I may try the 6 yellow rollers after I test these 8 - 12 g rollers for a while.

I didnt torque it all the way back down after the second time when i made the u-tube movie and it made a funny noise when i rode it again it was kind of a dull thud Knocking noise, i had my impact set on the lightest setting, when i should have set it on the highest setting which is about 100 lbs torque, I retightened it this morning and its fine now.

I got it out this morning, 7/10. First thing I noticed was that the handlebars didn't buzz nearly as bad as before. It has much quicker acceleration, and seems more "eager" to go now. I didn't get much time on it before I had to go to work.
While the Hawkeye is no light weight, I have always felt it should be quicker than it was. Any thoughts about how it might preform with all eight 10 gram rollers? Would that cause the motor to "overrev" and put the rpm's above the powerband? Can anything be done to get the slight lag out of it when taking off, or is that the nature of the beast with Polaris?
BTW, do you have anyother preformance mod's up your sleave? ;-) Any ideas about a less restrictive muffler?

have you pulled the Spark Arrestor out yet, Seems to me that since the motor is spinning faster quicker now it will need to breath better, I pulled the Spark Arrestor out and the flat spot went away, ive found with that arrestor in gives me more lowend power and with it out it gives me more top end power, Maybe more exhaust and more air will give it some more but i think we are getting all we can get. But i think 8 10 gram rollers would work okay as long as you run bigger tires.
