I have a 05 sportsman 500 that I've put a k&n filter in and a stiffer clutch spring. I've noticed when i go thru deep mud holes it bogs like it's sucking in water, but when i check evry thing seems dry to me, any suggestions?

when you cahnged the clutch spring did it raise the rpm's. does the k&n have too much oil in it?

When you put the K&N in did you jet up? If not next time your in the mud, pull the choke on a bit and see if it bogs. Sounds like it needs more fuel to me.

yes it raised the rpm's to about 2000, and the filter was preoiled but only a little oil was on it
