Hello All, I am new to the forum. I have been reading the threads for about a year now and you all have really helped me out a few times. I have a 2005 sportsman 400 and 500 HO and they both just started to act up. The atv will not start unless I give it gas and then after it starts it idles at a low 900 then 800 then it cuts off. I tried the choke and it just chokes off. I have to hold the throttle and keep it at 1800 rpms for about 2 or 3 minutes, after this it runs and starts just fine until it cools off again. The weather around here is summer and about 80 to 98 degrees. Like I said both atvs stated this at the sametime.
