That's the same with my 07. Used to have a Rincon 650 that you could only start in neutral. Pain in the backside considering it never wanted to stay lit in the deep stuff. That paint job looks cool. Is it supposed to be more scratch resistant?

That's cool. I saw a new x2 800 at my dealer in a deep red and it was gorgeous. I think all the manufacturers are going to be painting in the near future. Maybe one day the atv's will be available with custom paint like the Harleys. Amother thing to drop some tall coin on.

well a couple more tid bits for ya all. i just noticed that the cv boots and clamps have changed as well. looks like a better boot. also the shift linkage has a plastic gromet style where it hooks to the transmission lever that comes out of the tranny. this is most likely why it seems to shift smoother. now for the bad. i just found out why the dam thing was all over the trail as the r/side torsion bar was almost ready to fall off and wasnt cranked now causing it to favor one side as it pushed you over. also the r/ tire is toes in instead of out, but im going to try it the way it is to see how much the loose t. bar was effecting it.

Sten,

Are you saying that this new model is more swishyside to side
then the other 800's? This will be a factor for me as I do like my secure
feel that my 450 and my cousins 06' 800 gives ya. When I rode
my friends Trail Boss after being used to mine, man I could believe
how easy that thing was to tip.

Just curious, or maybe I am misunderstanding the post, please advise,
thanks Stendori!

this is why i said felt that way. i havent had it out since i tighten up the tor. bar so i dont know for sure but am pretty sure it will fix the issue.
