Default '07 SP800 Blink Code 25 ??

What is code 25? Its not in the owners manual. Anyone know?

As far as I know, the check engine light didn't come on. The only reason I checked was to make sure the diagnostic center was working and this code was in there.

Help please?

Well sorta. After cycling the key 3 times it immediately starts flashing the number "2", then the "WAIT" shows and continues flashing the "5". Then it displays the actual number "25". The word "WAIT" quits. Then flashes out the end code of "61" and then displays the word "END".

Maybe its not really a fault code since the word "WAIT" is still shown during the blinking of "25". I am going to try and call Polaris today.

Code 25 is on page 4.19 of the service manual in a special chart for fuel injection. The code means Transmission input-Invalid gear. I would assume it's the input from the switch on the tranny that shows what gear you are in on the speedometer display. It is also supposed to illuminate the check engine light if it's a real problem. My new 800 also had the 25 code after I unhooked the battery to charge it and then reconnected it. You can reset the code by disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes. I reset mine and it never came back. The shift switch was also functioning fine on mine since the display always showed the correct gear.

Excellent information and thanks! After disconnecting the battery for about 5 minutes then re-connecting it, the code 25 had cleared. My dealers service manager is out for a couple of days so couldnt get an answer from them either. Polaris was of no help at all. I will continue to investigate the reasons why this happened but atleast now I know its not anything too serious unless the check engine light comes on.

Thanks Ramoel, you have been of great help.
