Default Scrambler Just Quit

My wifes 2006 Scrambler 500 just quit after we had been riding for a couple hours, we crossed a very shallow stream and we took a break, it started okay, then when she went to take off it just died and the fan came on. Everything seems okay, but no starter. Nothing electical looked wet or damaged.Tried to manual start, acts like no juice. Battery is good and all connections are tight. Turn key on and no lights, no starter, fan continues to run. Ignition box?????

Check the kill switch. Seems stupid, but it's kept a few good techs scratching thier heads before.

Dry off the connectors on the ecm. Put a fair amount of dielectric grease on them. Might just be a little water. If not, it's probably the ecm. It has internal circuit breakers in it and that could be why you lost your lights, starter, etc. i have had complaints of very similar occurances after paeople washing their vehicles.
