Default Battery charging Q

I topped off the mineral water in my battery and charged it on a trikle charger overnight a couple of nights ago. After the initial charge my Fluke meter read 13.0 volts. Tday (2 days later) it is reading about 12.22 volts. Is this withi specs for a "healthy" battery, or should I be suspect of a faulty cell developing? I would hate to be out in the deep woods miles from help and have this thing go belly up!

12.6 is optimal. Any lower and you might be lookin into a new battery. Have it load tested to be sure.

yea take it to a good auto parts store and watch them load test it. wait a couple more days w/ it unhooked and test it again. if it drops more then its on its way out for sure.
