how do you remove spring from a front shock from a predator?

Default how do you remove spring from a front shock from a predator?

i was thinking of buying a elka but to much $$$. so i bought a hpd triple rate spring kit, but i dont know hot to remove the spring from the back and front shocks so i could put the hpd's. how do you take off springs from shocks? or do i have to send it t to somebody.

Default how do you remove spring from a front shock from a predator?

If you compress the spring (Not the shock) There will be a washer on the top that has a slot in it. Pull the washer off and the spring should come off. It's pretty easy, but compressing the spring can be a little scary. BE SAFE lol

Back the pressure (preload) off of the spring first.
