I dont really expect too much from the outlaw 450, its polaris's first shot at it and frankly, it'll be over shadowed by the Can-Am DS450 and the new KTM 450, as well as the Kawasaki KFX 450, probably because its a fresh new face, but i think polaris should've taken these new models as a chance to improve its looks as well

 

the outlaw and ktm share the same motor and transmission not sure about the frame. ktm is race ready out of the box it's made for the track not trails. on the tight trails 450's don't do as good. expect some problems on both because of 1st year production. pick the one you like the best. learn your new quad and beat the rest on skill and nerve

 

Polaris's 450 is made for MX, supposedly MX ready. Hense the name Outlaw 450MXR.

 

true its supposed to be race ready but the ktm has got the best of everything or close to it. i checked out the specs on the ktm got all the "good stuff" on it. make the others oem parts look like junk

 

So i haven't been on a 525. Are they really faster than all the other 450's? The 525 outlaw is still gonna be faster than the 450 outlaw, correct?

 

Yes it is. They both use the exact same frame with the same dimensions even the same motor mounts. 450 is a little lighter with smaller rear tires and better shocks. But the 525 is faster no doubt about it.
