Default Please Need Help With Wheels

Yesterday I purchased a new Sportsman 2007 500 EFI Deluxe from the local dealer. After I got it home I noticed that the aluminum wheels were different from the ones in the sales brochure. The ones in the brochure have dressing around the rim (indents and circles) and appear to be 1 piece thru the center. The wheels on my machine are aluminum but they are plain around the outside rim and appear to have a bolt on center cap. The dealer is closed today thru the weekend, so I would appreciate a response from anyone with knowledge concerning this. Were all wheels shipped from Polaris on the Deluxe model the same, did they vary, or has the dealer pulled a fast one on me?

Not all of them, but alot of dealers will do whatever it takes to close a deal. If someone was wanting a sportsman, but had to have the wheels that came on your bike........... I bet they got em!! Our local dealer is famous for it!

The one piece wheel came on the older 05,06, and early 07s. The ones you got are the newer ones, I believe, and will be on all the 08 machines. Look at stendoris pics of his 08 sportsman 800 or the polaris web site. If you want to trade, I have a new set of the old, one piece wheels off my 06 800.

I just want to say thanks to you guys for responding on this. I feel ok now about the wheels I have. I just wanted to make sure the dealer wasn't pulling one on me. I couldn't even find anywhere that these wheels could be bought online. I was trying to compare prices on the 2 styles.

You would have to price them out as a replacement part off microphiche, and not as an accessory.
