98 explorer right front wheel not working in 4x4
#1
The axil turns but the wheel does not. I jacked it up and had all 4 wheels off the ground. I have a 4X3. I took the nut off the top of the shock and leaned the front wheel assembly out a bit. The asil/drive shaft has a nut looking end. It is very loose in the peace the shock set on. It looks like their should be another part in their. Probably a bearing of somekind.
Can someone show me some good pictures of what whould be their? Could you also tell me how the 4x4 is supose to work? Their is a wire going in to the peace the shock sets on but thats it. The wire ends their. Should it be hock to something?
I could get some pictures if that would help
thanks
